PLAYGROUPSThere are a number of active Nederlandse Speelgroepen in Australia, which meet regularly and give families the chance to mix with others. If you have Dutch connections and your children are being raised bi-lingually, or even if they cannot speak any Dutch yet, it is an excellent opportunity for children to practice hun Nederlands. It is also just a fun day out! To find out more about a group near you, please contact: Sydney: Dutch Parents in Sydney. Contact Saskia van der Put on saskia@swphotography.net.au. We are getting together every first Saturday of the month at the Cottage Gallery, usually around 11am; sometimes location might change but I always email a reminder to everyone with time and location a few days beforehand. Also we organize few times a year the typical Dutch celebrations such as; Koninginnedag, Sinterklaas and some other get-togethers.Contact Marian Sergi-van Heel on marianvanheel@bigpond.com Do you know of a playgroup which has not been included here?
