Nederlands onderwijs in het buitenland ongekend populair

Steeds meer mensen kiezen ervoor om hun kinderen in het buitenland Nederlands onderwijs te laten volgen. In 2008 volgen ruim 10.000 kinderen wereldwijd Nederlands onderwijs. Dit is een stijging van 10% ten opzichte van 2007 en van bijna 50% ten opzichte van 1998. Vooral het aantal leerlingen dat het Nederlands onderwijs in deeltijd volgt, naast het lokale of internationale onderwijs, groeit sterk.
