17 - 20 October 2008	Griffith Festival of the Gardens -Showcases the region's gardens. Visit local gardens and see the unique citrus sculptures
18 October 2008	Applause Street Theatre and Buskers Festival, Albury - Street performances of music, visual and performing arts
18 October 2008	Oatley Lions Village Festival - Oatley Lions Village Festival is a popular annual community event that attracts over 12,000 visitors. Attractions include 170+ food, craft and novelty stalls, an animal farm, Harley Bike Rides, and two stages of live entertainment. 8.30am, Frederick St, Oatley and in the adjoining MemorialGardens. 18 October 2008	Granny Smith Festival Celebrating the life of Granny Smith who accidentally grew the worlds first crop of the apple in 1868 at Eastwood, that now bears her name. All the fun of fair with a street parade, carnival rides, market stalls, international food fair, mobile animal farm, roving street theatre, entertainment and an apple baking competition
